Reiva3D was founded by Shivakumar Hosamani, a Mechanical Engineering professional with a profound passion for Engineering, Manufacturing, and the transformative capabilities of additive manufacturing and custom 3D printing. 

With nearly three decades of extensive experience in Product Development and Precision Manufacturing, particularly within the Aerospace & Defence sector, Shivakumar has also made significant contributions across various industries including Medical, Automotive, Energy, and Heavy Engineering. 

Throughout his career, he has held diverse technical and leadership roles with esteemed organizations such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (Helicopter Division, Bangalore), Tata Aerospace (Pune), Wipro Aerospace, Cyient Limited, and Defsys Solutions Private Limited (Bengaluru). 

In his most recent corporate role, he served as Group Head – Industrial Co-operation and Unit Head (with full P&L responsibility) at Defsys, where he oversaw three business entities encompassing Electro-Optics, Simulators, Automatic Test Equipment, Ground Handling Equipment (GHE) & Ground Support Equipment (GSE), MRO, and Precision Machined Components Manufacturing. 

Throughout his tenure, Shivakumar has led cross-functional teams and driven projects across the complete Product Lifecycle — from Engineering Design and Manufacturing to Program Management, Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, Sourcing, Vendor Development, Operations, and Supply Chain Management — always focusing on delivering value and promoting sustainable growth through innovative engineering services.
